Who We Are
Contract Production is a UK-based contract electronics manufacturer (CEM) established in 2009 with a mission to deliver high-quality, flexible and cost-effective electronic manufacturing and assembly solutions to a broad range of industry sectors, which include Oil and Gas, Transportation and Logistics, Precision Laboratory Equipment and Noise and Environmental Monitoring. We continually invest in new equipment, our facilities and staff training and development to ensure that we offer the best possible levels of service and quality from our Yorkshire-based manufacturing facility equipped with the latest component placement and 3D AOI inspection equipment.
Key Milestones
- 2018 – Install our first Panasonic AM100 SMT Line allowing us to place 0201 and micro BGA foorptints.
- 2020 – Expand our premises and operational footprint to accommodate new investment and sales growth.
- 2021 – Add a 2nd fully equipped Panasonic AM100 SMT placement line.
- 2023 – Install a Seho lead free wave soldering machine.
- 2024 – Achieve a record turnover target of £5m for the first time in our history.
- 2025 – Upgrade our inspection capabilities and install a state of the art Nordson SQ3000 3D AOI system.

Potting and Conformal Coating
We offer PCB conformal coating, potting, and encapsulation services, which protect electronic components against moisture, chemicals, dust, and extreme temperatures in harsh environments.
Box Build & System Integration
We provide complete box build solutions, including enclosure assembly, wiring and final testing, delivering fully assembled and tested electronic products.
Testing & Quality Assurance
We can provide a full testing service for completed assemblies utilising bespoke or customer supplied test equipment. All of our PCB assemblies are manufactured, inspected and released to IPC-A-610 standards (Class 2 Standard, Class 3 on request).
